Mission and values

Reused Fibres is an independent textile brand dedicated to transforming textile waste into sustainable, functional creations through skilled techniques such as weaving, spinning, and sewing. From vibrant rugs to elegant cushions and handcrafted accessories, each product highlights the potential of reclaimed materials. Great pride is taken in carefully crafting every stage of production, with a particular focus on the art of weaving. Unwanted textiles undergo thorough processing before being thoughtfully assembled into unique finished pieces.

A strong commitment to detail ensures that every material—from warp yarn to sewing thread—is sourced sustainably from UK suppliers and haberdasheries. Textile labels are produced in-house, printed with eco-friendly inks on reclaimed fabrics. Circularity is central to this approach: each stage of production is carefully assessed to minimize waste. Any leftover materials are reintegrated into the production cycle, making sure nothing is wasted. This dedication reflects the belief that every effort to reuse and repurpose materials contributes meaningfully to a responsible and thoughtful production process.

The artisan behind the design

I’m Natacha, a Belgian textile designer and graduate of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels. My curiosity and sensitivity to colors and materials find expression through the technique of hand weaving. Driven by the urgency to give my work meaning, I prioritize eco-design and recycling as essential paths forward. Since completing my academic research in 2021, I have dedicated myself to recovering textile waste, transforming it, and giving it a second life.

After countless creations and many hours spent in my Cambridge studio, I founded Reused Fibres to share my work with those who value the blend of creativity and sustainability. Every fabric I create fuels my passion to turn discarded materials into practical, beautiful everyday objects.
